David Bruce Davidson - How do you honour a man who has spent his life giving to his community in both big and small ways? A man who has enriched so many young lives through his career in education as a principal at several schools in Waterloo Region. A father who has always cared deeply for his sons Andrew and Scott. A grandfather who has been such a big part of his grandkids’ lives, cheering them on with every endeavour and achievement.

Bruce has spent 80 years enjoying the great outdoors, be it canoeing, fishing or quality time spent at the lake. As Bruce’s sons, we wanted to honour our father and find a way to allow Bruce to continue to do what he has always done and help his community wherever he sees the need, through the D. Bruce Davidson Fund. It is our hope that with this fund Dad will enjoy many more years of giving back to the community in ways important to him.
