Our office will be closed after Friday, December 20, 2024 to Friday, January 3, 2025 and our team will be available to respond to you again on Monday, January 6, 2025.

Year-end giving

As we head into these final weeks of the year, it’s a natural time for people to consider if they are in a position to make charitable donations. If you are thinking of doing so before the end of the year for a 2024 tax receipt, here are some of the most common ways you can do that:

CHEQUE - Due to the Canada Post work stoppage, mailing cheques is temporarily unavailable.

ONLINE – online donations can be made here via Credit Card/PayPal/Apple Pay/Google Pay, and just select the specific fund you want to support from the alphabetized drop-down menu.
PHONE - credit card donations can be made over the phone (by December 19) by phoning Dan at 519-725-1806 x 205 or Mackenzie at 519-725-1806 x 207.
E-TRANSFER – if you want to make an e-transfer donation directly from your bank account, please email dan@wrcf.ca or mackenzie@wrcf.ca (by December 19) to get the necessary information.
SECURITIES – if you want to donate securities, click here to access our form. You’ll want to initiate the donation with your broker no later than December 9 to avoid any holiday processing delays.
