National Volunteer Week is almost here

National Volunteer Week is two weeks away, and we want to take some time to recognize our dedicated volunteers.

At WRCF, our volunteers make waves, bringing their time, skills, empathy, creativity, expertise, and insights to help us support people and organizations across Waterloo Region. We are so grateful for their continued support.

We asked two of our past volunteers, Patricia Mighton and V. Tiwari, to share their thoughts on their experience volunteering with WRCF.

2025 Farwell4Hire Campaign

The Farwell4Hire campaign, an annual fundraiser that takes place in the month of May, kicks off soon! Since Farwell4Hire began in 2014, it has helped to contribute more than $1.3 million to cystic fibrosis (CF) research. The Farwell4Hire Fund was created in memory of Luanne and Sheri Farwell, and supported by the Farwell4Hire campaign, contributes to important research that will one day create a world without CF.
