As we head into these final weeks of the year, it’s a natural time for people to consider if they are in a position to make charitable donations. If you are thinking of doing so before the end of the year for a 2023 tax receipt, here are some of the most common ways you can do that:
- CHEQUE - cheques, made payable to Waterloo Region Community Foundation (or WRCF) and a note in the memo indicating which fund you are donating to, can be mailed to: WRCF, 200-2 King St W, Kitchener, ON, N2G 1A3 (envelope postmarked no later than December 31st).
- ONLINE – online donations can be made here via Credit Card/PayPal/Apple Pay/Google Pay, and just select the specific fund you want to support from the alphabetized drop-down menu.
- PHONE - credit card donations can be made over the phone (by December 21st) by phoning Dan at 226-988-8673 or Mackenzie at 519-725-1806 x 207.
- E-TRANSFER – if you want to make an e-transfer donation directly from your bank account, please email dan@wrcf.ca or mackenzie@wrcf.ca to get the necessary information.
