The Waterloo Region Record - Lyle S. Hallman Foundation Kids to Camp Fund
|
|
Approximately $150,000 will be distributed to provide grants to camps enabling children and youth who reside in Cambridge, Kitchener, North Dumfries, Waterloo, Wellesley, Wilmot, and Woolwich and area, who need financial assistance to attend a variety of day, overnight, recreational and educational camps.

Meaning of Home writing contest in support of Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region is back!

Do you know a child in Grades 4, 5, or 6 who loves to help others? Tell them about the Meaning of Home contest. This contest is a unique and meaningful way to get your children involved in creative writing and giving back to their community. Every local student who enters the contest will help Habitat for Humanity Waterloo Region build safe and affordable homes by earning a $10 donation. Submission deadline: February 23, 2024
